My Meals Monday | Feeling Unwell

Today I woke up feeling quite unwell, I have been suffering with massive hay fever but I now have a cold on top of that, which let me tell you is not that fun.

I started off with my usual water, coffee, and orange juice with added vitamins. I am feeling so thirsty I had already drank a liter of water, and this was my next glass. I was really hoping that the orange juice mixture would help me feel better, it didn’t lol.

We then had to run out before I got breakfast, I had mentioned we should buy a weed eater for our little strip of grass, and of course Don thought that meant we should rush down there right away.

I stopped at Starbucks on the way down and grabbed my usual Iced Venti Vanilla Latte and I also got the cheese danish. Sadly I didn’t have time for it to be warmed up because there was no parking and Don was just circling the lot, so I tried it cold, as you can see by the little nibble, and it wasn’t great. Once I got home I popped it in the oven and it was delish!

For lunch I used the BiteSquad app (I swear this is not sponsored lol), and I ordered Pho from Hi Pho Vietnamese, this was exactly what I needed on a day like today. I got the summer rolls and a vegetarian pho loaded it up with Sriracha and ate until my eyes watered hahaha. It was really the best Pho ever, I can see why this restaurant has so many stars on yelp.

For dinner we had one of Don’s favorites short ribs with cauliflower mash and tomatoes. I didn’t really care for the meat as it was quite stringy so I had the mash and tomatoes.

For dessert I had a bowl of fruit salad, I made this with grapes, blueberries, strawberries, mango, raspberries, and I’m sure something else 🙂 I then poured over some Naked Mango smoothie and popped it in the fridge so I can grab some whenever I have a bit of a sweet craving. I also made a hot tottie, this is rum, honey, and TeaPigs peppermint licorice tea.

 

That is everything I had today.
