Aqua+ Skincare Review

Recently a box arrived for me that contained the Aqua+ Skincare range, this is a Canadian brand that can be found on Amazon. They had sent me the skincare to try out and I thought I would give you guys a review.

This is a natural brand, meaning they are not using any chemical type ingredients, the range doesn’t contain sulfates, but it does contain natural parabens. I did some research and there seems to be a bit of a debate about that, a paraben is a preservative, manmade parabens have been linked to cancer, however it seems that natural parabens coming from plants, hasn’t been linked to cancer(?). I will leave it up to you to decide whether you want to use them.

The Aqua+ Cleanser is a foaming cleanser, which I actually don’t care for. I found it very drying to my already dry skin, and it felt as if it had been stripped too much. If you had oily skin this may help get the oil under control, but for anyone that is             slightly dry-very dry, I would steer clear.

The Aqua+ Toner is without a doubt the best toner I have ever used! I know there are a lot of people who don’t use toners as it is one of those items like eye creams that some think unnecessary, this one however left my skin feeling so soft, like baby skin soft. It felt smooth as if I had just had a facial, and there doesn’t seem to be any type of sent to it, which in the skincare world a product without fragrance is kinda hard to come by. This says to mist it on, but it doesn’t come as a pump/spray, I just poured a fee drops on my cotton pad and wiped it over my face.

The Aqua+ Hyaluronate Pristine Serum was also a favorite of mine, I feel like my nose and cheeks are the driest spots on my face, which means I see more caking of my makeup in that area. With the use of this serum I would say my nose and cheeks looks almost dewy, without any product on!!! I would also say my pores look more clear, which in turn makes them look smaller, which is what we’re all after!

The Aqua+ PM-Zero Moisturizer was honestly such a dream, the cream is so thick that in the video I turned it upside down and shook it, and it didn’t budge! When applying this remember a little goes a long way, and rather than rubbing it into your skin try taking a couple extra minutes and lightly push it into the skin. You will end up with insanely moisturized glowing skin, without feeling greasy!

All in all I will be repurchasing the Toner, Serum, and Moisturizer, these have become staples in my skincare routine, and so appreciate the opportunity to try them out.

You can watch the video review here, and also yesterday I did a Facebook LIVE unboxing of the Jaclyn Hill Palette, with swatches, and a surprise for you guys, you can watch that here.
