For any of you who have been following me for a while, you’ll have known I have been trying and failing to get into shape, in May of this year I hired a personal trainer, who makes me accountable (I have to show up or I paid her for nothing lol), and who designs my workouts to not only be fun, but also a major heart rate raiser!
When I got the opportunity to work with BodyFab.com and use their Sweat Vest, I knew this would be the perfect time to introduce you guys to Taylor. Taylor is a personal trainer at my local gym, and she is also the founder/creative mind behind Sundaze bikinis! She also jumped at the chance to create a Booty Blasting workout that we can all do at home where the only equipment needed is a jump rope. She also liked that the Sweat Vest, which amps up your workout by helping you sweat more, and raise that heart rate to burn more calories, wasn’t a waist trainer, as we all know how damaging they can be.
With Sweat Vest, you can do any of your normal workouts like Spin, Yoga, Weight Lifting, Elliptical, or even just going for a walk, and you won’t feel any type of restriction, you can bend, lift, and jump when you need to. I personally like it as a gentle reminder to keep my core tight, as thats the secret to having good posture, and perfect form in the gym.
For the workout Taylor created you will do the following:
5 walking lunges foreword
5 walking lunges backwards
10 crab walks to the left
10 crab walks to the right
5 jump squats
5 glute Bridge with leg lift
20+ second jump rope
REPEAT 3 TIMES
The jump rope is honestly the bane of my existence lol, its so much harder as an adult than as a child, so start off at 20 seconds and if you can do more than do more in the next round. This seems like such a simple workout but its designed to target your butt and help blast those unwanted dimples lol, it will also seriously raise your heart rate so be sure to have plenty of water on hand.
