October Favorites

I can hardly believe the month of October has already come and gone, where has 2017 gone???? These has felt like the fastest year of my life, and I know I’m not alone in that, as there have plenty of you on twitter saying the exact same thing! Well  since October has decided to leave us so quickly I thought I would share with you guys my favorites for the month.

Laura Mercier Coconut Body Cream

This year for my birthday I received the Laura Mercier Bath & Body set, I didn’t want to include any of my birthday items in my favorites as I loved them all and I didn’t want to do a repeat post of What I Got For My Birthday,  however this body cream is so luxurious feeling, smells amazing, and makes your skin feel so hydrated and soft that I couldn’t not share it with you.

In Love With The Koko Liquid Lip Collection

This lip collection is perfect for any makeup lover out there, as it contains 4 amazing colors that compliment almost anyone. I love the gloss as it helps add a bit of a 3D effect to the matte lip. My only complaint about this is it’s actually crazy hard to remove.

L’Oreal Infallible Paints Spicy Blush

This was a sample I got from Ulta, and I have been loving this color, and the lip stick, it goes on like a gloss and then settles into a bit more of a velvet. It doesn’t stay all day, and does come off whilst eating and drinking, but it’s so easy to apply that it’s not a problem touching it up after meals.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I have recently gotten into the habit of using a bronzer on my eyelids for days when I don’t want to get all slammed up, but still want to look like I’m half-way alive lol. The Hoola bronzer is amazing for this as it’s a matte bronzer and is the perfect shade to cover up my horrible green/blue veiny lids.

Rodan + Fields Lip Serum

My lips have been so dry lately so I have been using this lip serum overnight, it not only seriously hydrates, but it’s anti aging so it will help keep your lips smooth and young! Not a lot of people think about their lips when it comes to anti-aging, but it’s so important as our lips are so thing skinned and yet most of us don’t remember to apply sunscreen and moisturizers to them.

Real Techniques Beauty Blender

I actually forgot to mention this in my video because I had used it that morning and it was sitting in my bathroom drying. I did want to make sure to include it here as it’s so amazing for applying your foundation, I actually prefer it over my more expensive beauty blender, I feel like it doesn’t absorb as much product, but it also blends it so much better, and because it has such a large flat area it makes applying your foundation, concealer, contour, whatever your applying so much easier and faster.

Bumble & Bumble Prêt-a-powder

This is a dry shampoo/style extender I sometimes place this into my hair before bed and just let it sit over night, then I brush my ends, flip my head upside down shake it out, and then style as usual. This can be a bit heavy so I wouldn’t apply it on a daily basis, but every few days should be fine.

Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb

I got a sample of this in my Sephora Play last month and then I got a full size for my birthday, it is honestly the most amazing moisturizer for dry skin, if you have oily skin they have the Aqua Bomb which would be good for you.

Batist Dry Shampoo

I tried Batist a few years ago and hated it, it had a bit of color in it for brown hair, and if felt drying, and sticky, not something I wanted in my hair. I saw the Neon Lights in Walgreens and after smelling it I thought I would give it another go, and I’m so glad I did it’s so amazing. The scent is to die for, its a light dry shampoo so it can be used daily, and it works into the hair quickly.

Bourjois Khol Kajal

This is a product that I have had for years and completely forgot about, and then I was cleaning out my eyeliners and found this, it’s perfect for tight lining and its such a smooth intense black, you honestly cannot go wrong with this.

Purium Power Shake

I have mentioned the Purium Power Shake in Apple Berry for a couple months on my My Meals Monday posts, I love it, it tastes nice, it provides you with a bit of a lift when you drink it, and it’s filled with nutrients. I was able to get an affiliate code for you guys so if you go to the Purium site and add your items to your cart, click checkout, and then click Gift Card and enter KATIESNYDER that will get you $50 off your order, after that you will receive 25% off any future orders.

Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette

Finally the Jaclyn Hill Palette, this is something that took me months to get my hands on, and sadly right after I got it they announced they were changing the packaging. All of that aside I will say I love this palette, the shade range is amazing, not only do you have shimmers, mattes, cool tones, warm tones, colors, and neutrals. This is one of those palettes that you can create any look with, and the shades blend so well.

I would love to know what your favorites for the month of October are, and which of my favorites are you most interested in?
