Am Skincare & Am Routine

Today I thought I would take you guys through m y AM Skincare Routine and a bit of my Morning Routine. The first thing I do when I wake up is take the dogs out, its for a quick 5-10 minute walk, I don’t have a normal yard that I can let them out unattended in so I quickly give them a potty break and then we come back in.

I then have a potty break for myself lol, and put on my workout clothes. I feel like if I have workout clothes on I’m more likely to actually workout, I will then have a huge glass of water and either a coffee or a Bounce Ball.

Then it’s time to actually workout. I am currently doing the Kayla Itsines BBG on MON-WED-FRI and then taking the dogs for a 30-45 minute walk on the other days, though I am trying to taking them 7 days a week.

After working out I will take my shower.

Then it’s time to do my skincare!

The first thing I use is the Drunk Elephant Beste Jelly Cleanser, this is a trial cleanser that I got in the Sephora Sale and I really like this. I also like Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, this was probably the first thing I ever purchased from Sephora and I still buy on a regular basis!

After rinsing my face I use the FAB Facial Radiance Pads, this has a small amount of Glycolic Acid which helps with the removal of dead skin cells, and helps to brighten and exfoliate skin.

For eye cream I use the Orgins PlantScription, however I have recently been turned on to the Belif Eye Bomb, and it’s so amazing, it really hydrates the eye area and I don’t find it too thick for daytime use.

Then it’s time for serums, I think it’s important to have a couple that your using on different days as your skin needs a bit of change up, as well as a bit of a break from time to time.

The Leanne Grace Miracle Beauty oil is great for hydration I like to mix this with the Leahlani Siren Surem, this is a Vitamin C serum that going to help get rid of those pesky sunspots, by adding the Miracle Beauty Oil it makes it really hydrating at the same time. Also the Leahlani Siren Surem is honestly the best smelling C serum on the planet and it’s made right here in Hawaii!

I have also been loving the Drunk Elephant C Firma Serum and the B-Hydra combo!

After I put my serums on I like to let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to sink into the skin, once thats done I then moisture with the Clinique Dramaticcly Different Moisturizer and the FAB Lip Balm.

Then it’s time for Sunscreen I use the Drunk Elephant Umbra and the La Roth Posay Anthelios 60! I also love the Clinique spray for my neck, shoulders, chest, and arms, the pep-start is not my favorite as it’s got quite and ashy tone to it, but it does layer under makeup really well, and once you have foundation on it’s perfect.

After my skincare I get dressed and then move onto hair and makeup, once thats done I feel like I can fully start my day. I am an early riser so I am usually dressed and ready for the day by 8-9am.
