Mother’s Day

I always find Mother’s Day shopping a really daunting task, how are you supposed to buy something that honors the person that gave you life, held your hands as you learned to walk, picked you up when you fell, waited in the parking lot on your first day of school, stood on the sidelines of every game, helped you with your homework, figured out how to pay for college, and who will eventually become your best friend? I still haven’t figured it out, but I do pride myself on a finding something that my Mom wants/needs and getting it for her and this year its beauty stuff so that was easy lol.

She needed a bit of a re-up on her skincare items that I had gotten her for her birthday, so these are the items I went for:

Real techniques prep and prime set
Belif the true cream moisturizing bomb
Kate somerville cold cream
Drunk elephant C Tango Eye Cream
Farmacy green clean cleansing balm

I also wanted to get her a couple of beauty items that can make her morning routine just as short and simple as she likes, but she can still feel “put together” when running errands.

Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz
Bare Minerals beautiful finish brush
Bare Minerals original foundation

You can never go wrong with a Jo Malone Diffuser, they are expensive but absolutely heavenly.

I love the idea of a custom candle, my Neice and Nephew got me this for my birthday last year and I love it!

The Nest Diffuser is a a bit easier on the bank account but still smells incredible.

Sephora always has some pretty amazing gift sets for skin and makeup.

First Aid Beauty All You Need Is Fab

BareMinerals Nothing Beats The Original

I also included some random bits that I thought my mom would like, like the Kopari Coconut Oil Pullers, this is a very Niche Mothers Day gift but available if your mom is into it.

A face mask is always an easy option because who doesn’t love having a bit of a paper session, and this watermelon mask from Glow Recipe smells amazing, it’s like the sweetest watermelon is sitting right under your nose.

Olaplex No3 is an amazing option for anyone who has hair, it helps condition it, helps with split ends/strands, and it makes your hair feel like you’ve just come from the salon.

Finally the Hermes Apple Watch or strap is a great option as the strap is super stylish and the watch is insanely practical.

Great ideas, I will have to save this for next year and slip it to the hubby for some ideas!
