Today I went out and planted my “Winter Garden” I did some Lakota Squash, Blue Hubbard Squash, green beans, beets, and rutabagas, I’m really wanting to do more tomatoes but its “winter” here in Hawaii so its around 65-70 degrees and I think its too cold for tomatoes and the more summer items to grow properly.

I’ve always wanted to start a home garden for fruits, veggies, and herbs, but I’ve always been afraid to – I’ve never had house plants or anything like that out of fear that I’d kill them. Maybe in 2021 I’ll take the plunge and start small with basil or something!
